novo-nachalo2   The project is implemented by the Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance " Amalipe" - Bulgaria (leader ), Liga pro Europa - Romania and National Roma Centre - Macedonia ( partners) . It aims at developing, testing and evaluation of social innovation approach to combating social exclusion of young people from rural areas in Bulgaria, Romania and Macedonia with a specific focus on young people from marginalized Roma communities. Under the project six methodological centers for community development were created and supported: four in Bulgaria - the municipality of Dolna Banya, Knezha, Radnevo and Lyaskovetz / Strajitsa, one in Romania and one in Macedonia. Within the project, more than 2,500 families have indicated their preference for work corresponding to their educational level. 2/3 of them expressed willingness to undergo training courses or to continue their education. As a result of objective analysis due to the completed questionnaires, and with the support of the moderators over 100 people become employed  and more than 200 participated in the training and qualification courses . This significantly improves the chances for work and not least for self-employment and starting business. Over 20 representatives of the Roma community in a number of trainings , individual counseling and practical help began expanding their own manufacturing and business initiatives, though small ones. The established contacts with more than 50 large and medium-sized local businesses are a good basis for future cooperation and to stimulate the recruitment of young Roma. The most significant achievement of the project , however , which is the primary objective of the Progress Programme of the European Commission is that it became a model for promoting employment, increasing motivation and use of resources of the local Roma community , to increase employment . The effectiveness of the centers was greatly appreciated by all members of the public authorities and had expressed readiness to implement national and local policies for the implementation of both the approach and the implemented activities in the wider local, national and international level. Not once was emphasized by the representatives of public authorities that the community approach and wide – area commitment ensure sustainability and perspective of both the population and the business. This was defined as a good "start " to redefine the measures and the formation of axes and priorities related to the implementation of the model in the new operational programs established for the period 2014 - 2020 . This conclusion and stated willingness of the institutions is the result of many years of analysis and expert work of the NGO sector, undoubtedly the main driver in this process over the years has been the team CIEDT "Amalipe ." Satisfaction and hope of the findings and intentions expressed and all the mayors and representatives of local government, which during the period of the project were implicit partners and have proven to be relevant institutions involved in overcoming the problems of their residents and with a focus on the most vulnerable marginalized groups.

The meeting ended with a conclusion about which united all - the end of the project and its results are the basis for a good "start " to unite the efforts of all those concerned with youth and said it definitely will not be their last meeting and activity in this area.
